About Omega Live Web Broadcasts (FAQ)

What are Live Web Broadcasts?

If you have a broadband or DSL connection, you can access and view on your computer in real time these master teachers in the comfort of your own home or wherever you wish.

What is On-Demand Web Broadcasting or VOD?

Video-on-Demand is a limited availability video that can be accessed on the Omega website, for review as often as you wish within in a designated time frame.

How do I know if my computer is capable of accessing these broadcasts?


Viewing Live Web Broadcasts: Omega Live Webcast requires Windows Media Player. To make sure your system has the Windows Media Player installed, click the play button below:

If you can see and hear the video above, your computer has the necessary Windows Media Plugin required to view Omega Live Broadcasts.
If you CAN NOT see and hear the above video, please download and install the latest version Windows Media Player (free):




Special Instructions for installing Windows Media Player for Mac OSX users

To Download and Install Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X

1. Go to the
Download Center - or Install WindowsMedia.sitx Now (Advanced Users).
2. On the Download Center page, select Player for Mac OS X, and then click Download Now.

Note: Windows Media Player for Mac will download to the download location specified in your browser. The default location is the desktop. You will need to use StuffIt Expander to decompress Windows Media Player for Mac OS X. You can get StuffIt Expander from Allume Systems.

3. Double-click the installer icon.

Note: During installation, the installer searches for previous versions of the Player. This may take several minutes to complete. To reduce the search time, disconnect from all shared computers or servers prior to running the installer.

Viewing On-Demand Web Broadcasts: Omega On-Demand Webcasts requires Macromedia Flash Player. We have run an auto-test on your system. The results are as follows:

If the auto-test returned the message, "Installation Complete" you are properly configured to access Omega On-Demand Webcasts.

If the auto test returned the following message, ""You don't have the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player", please click on the above Macromedia Icon and download/install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

How do I know my registration was successful?


1- You will receive a confirmation email from webcast@eomega.org .  It will list what you have registered for and confirm payment.

If do not find the confirmation email, you can contact Omega Registration at 800-944-1001, or registration@eomega.org and request it be sent again.  You may need to add webcast@eomega.org to your address book or safe sender list.

2- You can log in
here, and click on the Order History link at the top of the page.  The Order History page should display all of the sessions you've signed up for.   You can click on the little icon at the end of an order line to confirm your payment details for that order.

If you do not see the session you were trying to sign up for, you can click on the Catalog link at the top of the page, and try to register again.
