“Each flower is a masterpiece. Flowers disarm us. When we look at a flower, we are looking at the manifestation of love,” says Anthony Ward. If you love flowers, this workshop is your opportunity to explore that love.
This popular and fun workshop, being held for the last time in 2010, is open to anyone who loves flowers and the natural world. Ward, who has graced the Omega campus, indoors and outside, with his floral designs for more than a decade, demonstrates his unique process for creating floral arrangements. We take walks to collect grasses, vines, branches, wildflowers, and leaves on the beautiful Omega grounds; other gorgeous flowers are brought in, and we create our own floral expressions of the divine.
Bring comfortable walking shoes and garden clippers.
Anthony Ward has created personal floral offerings for some of the world’s most noted spiritual luminaries, including the Dalai Lama, Eckhart Tolle, and Thich Nhat Hahn. He has also created for entertainment icons Madonna, Bette Midler, and Ben Harper. His work has appeared in In Style, Modern Bride, and Spirituality & Health magazines and many newspapers worldwide. He has created floral sculptures on stage in performance with Bobby McFerrin, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and for Nawang Khechog. beingwithflowers.com
