We may think of ourselves as fixed, but when we let go of this notion we can begin to discover the real dance going on in and around us. Consider yourself as a body of water, an ocean of being—deep, fathomless, mysterious, and mercurial. In this unique marriage of shallow and deep, mellow and moody, this ever-changing flow of currents, tides, and waves, you are a mutable universe of possibilities. Most of us forget, sabotage, deny, or simply ignore the freedom that exists when we allow ourselves to be this huge and holy.
Inner Waves is an opportunity to deepen your practice of Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms™, a cathartic form of ecstatic dance, to use them as
a map to not only more clearly see yourself, but to more truly be yourself.
This is a time to ask: What is going on inside me and how does it want to move? What is happening in my ocean? What currents are shifting across my surface and pulling me into my depths? Is there a tempo to the tides moving me in and out? What riptides are spinning me off center?
