Learn how to develop and run a successful holistic education, wellness, or health business that is both sustainable and aligned with your inner passion and purpose. Omega Institute-the largest holistic education provider in the country, serving more than 20,000 guests annually and now in its 31st year-will be our case study for this workshop.
There are now many successful organizations whose founders attended this program. It helped them formulate and gain greater clarity about their vision and mission.
We begin with the development of a vision and purpose statement, learning the steps necessary to create a realistic plan consistent with our ideals. We also discuss how to maintain this vision through the challenges that arise in operating a business committed to holistic and sustainable values.
Through dialogue, group interaction, individual attention, and an inside look at Omega, we discover how to:
- Create a vision and mission consistent with inner purpose
- Develop financial viability within nonprofit or profit status
- Create programs and choose faculty that speak to your constituency
- Identify and reach your market as you develop a unique brand
- Create an organizational structure
- Develop a board of directors and advisors
Stephan Rechtschaffen is also teaching (with Marc Cohen) Omega Wellness Week, July 27-August 1 and August 17-22.
Stephan Rechtschaffen, MD, is a cofounder of Omega and chairman of Omega's board of directors. He has been teaching this program for the past 15 years and regularly consults with centers, organizations, and businesses in this emerging field. He is the author of Timeshifting. |
