Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga Immersion

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

The “core” is often misunderstood and improperly activated in yoga poses. The result can be fewer benefits, loss of power, and increased potential for injury.

Sadie Nardini, founder of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, has a unique and easy method for activating perfect core alignment in every posture. In this dynamic weekend immersion, you learn to apply her core alignment techniques for a more robust, beneficial, and joyful yoga practice.

You discover how to:

  • Apply a 3-step template to align your core in every pose
  • Explore bandhas, granthis, and chakras
  • Keep your core aligned throughout vinyasa practice, including standing postures, arm balances, and inversions
  • Practice core meditations and restorative postures
  • Engage your core to help achieve goals both on and off the mat

Beginning and advanced yoga practitioners alike are welcome. Yoga teachers learn techniques they can apply in their classes.

Yoga teachers receive 10.5 Continuing Education Credits through Yoga Alliance and a certificate of completion for attending this workshop. Sadie Nardini is also part of Being Yoga; August 20-22, 2010.

Yoga Journal calls Sadie Nardini a “rising star,” and New York magazine says her workshops are “one of the top 10 ways to change your life.” Nardini is director of East West Yoga in New York City and founder of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga. She is author of The Road Trip Guide to the Soul and writes a blog for www.iYogaLife.com. SadieNardini.com
