Stephan Rechtschaffen, M.D.
Island Time: Living Fully in This Moment
In this workshop physician and cofounder of Omega Stephan Rechtschaffen teaches holistic approaches to time, longevity, stress reduction, and well-being. Through visualization techniques, mindfulness practices, and awareness exercises, the author of Timeshifting: Creating More Time to Enjoy Your Life and coauthor of Vitality and Wellness, shows us how to slow down and come into the authentic and natural rhythms that are the result of living fully in the present moment.

Steven Michael Pague
Exploring the Natural Mysteries of Our World
Steven Michael Pague combines his years of experience as codirector and host of Omega's Maho Bay program—gathering people with music, dance, chant, and prayer—with his movement and awareness skills to help us tap into the sacred heart of the mysteries within and around us. We begin our week in soft, harmonic sound to thank the natural world, then explore an eclectic blend of nature awareness, tracking, fire-making, thanksgiving, peace-making, personal development, and artistic expression.

Tara Bennett-Goleman, M.A., and Daniel Goleman, Ph.D.
Emotional Alchemy
Mindfulness—an observing, investigative awareness—can help us transform our disturbing emotions. Tara Bennett-Goleman, author of the best-selling book Emotional Alchemy, and Daniel Goleman, author of the best-selling Emotional Intelligence, blend mindfulness and Buddhist psychology with neuroscience and cognitive therapy to explore ways to free ourselves from the powerful habits of reactivity that play out in our relationships, work, and daily lives. We also explore how we can transform emotional confusion, leading to a more genuine connection with ourselves and others.

Cyndi Lee
OM Yoga & Meditation
Join New York City's OM Yoga Center director Cyndi Lee as we explore the connection of two vital spiritual practices—hatha yoga and Buddhist meditation—and examine how this union offers a way for us to move through the world with greater ease. Each flowing vinyasa-style OM yoga workshop session creates the ideal opportunity to apply the Buddhist meditation techniques of watching our minds, recognizing our habits, and opening our hearts. Open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

David Nichtern
Awakening From the Daydream
According to the Buddhist teachings of the Wheel of Life we inhabit six realms based on strongly ingrained mental habits and emotional patterns, all the time thinking we are awake but we are actually living in a daydream. This introduction to meditation points us toward a state of mind that is intrinsically and totally awake. Come explore the awakened state of mind with David Nichtern, senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage, dean of Buddhist Studies at OM yoga, and Grammy- and Emmy-Award winning composer/guitarist/producer.

Roger Jahnke, O.M.D.
Claiming the Healing Promise of Qi
Qigong, the skill of consciously attracting and cultivating vital energy, can transform your life. Since ancient times in China, master teachers have focused their connection to qi, or vital energy, to manifest radiant health and the light of their eternal nature. Join dynamic teacher Roger Jahnke, physician of Chinese medicine and author of The Healing Promise of Qi and The Healer Within, to directly experience qi cultivation practices to access this profound way of being.
