Will the year 2012 be an age of awakening, a new step in human evolution, or an end to the world as we know it? The Mayan calendar predicts 2012 as the end of an era on Earth, and today spiritual explorers and scientists are witnessing signs that 2012 will mark a critical shift in the history of our planet. Many of the leading authorities on the 2012 phenomenon presented their insights about this enigmatic date in The Mystery of 2012, published by Sounds True. Now, in partnership with the publisher, Omega is pleased to bring five of these experts to you. In this speculative and healing event, we explore a striking holistic vision that includes spiritual teachings and an astronomical science that explains why 2012 is such a critical turning point for life on Earth.

Mayan expert John Major Jenkins leads us on a virtual journey to Izapa, an early Mayan site and the source for answers about the original Mayan calendar. Visionary journalist Daniel Pinchbeck shares his investigation of the shift in consciousness that is necessary for humanity to survive 2012, while physicist-psychologist Peter Russell guides us in an exploration of the accelerating pace of evolution and why we may be literally transforming into a new species.

Author and community activist Corinne McLaughlin leads a discussion about using awareness to positively influence business and political trends in the new era, and on Saturday night, Dutch artist Janosh presents a unique multimedia, "trance-forming" experience to empower us to create our own reality through visionary geometric images and powerful music.
