Mount Madonna is a holistic education and retreat center designed to nurture the creative arts and the health sciences within a context of personal and spiritual growth. The center offers a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere for the in-depth work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction professional training. Omega has been sponsoring this program for many years, in partnership with the University of Massachusetts Medical School Office of Continuing Education.
Magnificent Mount Madonna
Located on 355 gorgeous mountaintop acres of redwood forest and open meadows, the Mount Madonna Center in Watsonville, California overlooks all of Monterey Bay with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean-an ideal setting for holistic education programs. In addition to comfortable accommodations and delicious vegetarian food, there are hiking trails, a small lake, and a hot tub, as well as volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts. Massage, herbal steambath, and other bodywork services are also available at the wellness center and can be part of your personal stress reduction program.
