Lokita Carter
Lokita Carter and her husband, Steve Carter, have been teaching Margot Anand’s SkyDancing Tantra since 1999, and founded the Institute for Ecstatic Living in 1998. Together they direct the SkyDancing Tantra Institute and have produced several best-selling educational DVDs on tantra and tantric massage: Tantric Massage for Lovers, The Breath of Tantric Love, and Tantric Yoga for Lovers. They have appeared on radio and television stations across the United States and most recently on the Discovery Channel.
Empowered by Margot Anand to be a lineage holder of her teachings in the United States, Lokita and Steve are currently the only SkyDancing Teachers authorized to teach Anand’s world renowned Love & Ecstasy Training in the United States, and regularly appear at her events as guest presenters. They are a powerful, fun, dynamic, and loving teaching couple, who bring the perfect blend of masculine and feminine qualities to their events.
Lokita is also an accomplished aquatic bodyworker, massage practitioner, rebirthing therapist, and published writer. Since her late teens, she has devoted her life to personal and spiritual growth, Tantra, and meditation. Having spent many years in Germany, India, and Australia before settling in the United States, she is enriched with a broad perspective of different cultures, societies, and attitudes. This has given her a deep appreciation for the human being in all its countless facets.
