Annie McKee, PhD, is founder of Teleos Leadership Institute, a consulting firm with a mission to develop values-based leadership and resonant organizations. The company works with executives to help them better understand themselves and the impact of their actions, words, and attitudes on themselves and everyone around them. McKee consults worldwide for influential leaders in organizations such as Merrill Lynch, the United Nations, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Starbucks Entertainment.
McKee’s PhD in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University came after years of struggle as a single mom and student. She describes witnessing the 9/11 attack as the catalyst for the most important decision of her life, to form the Teleos Leadership Institute with partner Fran Johnston. “I felt a profound sense of urgency to realize my own dream of contributing to leaders around the globe,” says McKee.
McKee is coauthor of Primal Leadership and Resonant Leadership and author of Becoming a Resonant Leader. She is adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and teaches at Aresty Institute of Executive Education at The Wharton School.
