Mind, Body, Spirit - OCSL

Linda Kawer, LCSW

faculty member Linda Kawer, LCSW, is a psychotherapist who has practiced in New York’s Hudson Valley for 25 years. Her strong foundation in biochemical research, as well as many years of clinical and administrative experience in community mental health working with trauma and addictions, has informed her understanding of psychodynamics, neurobiology, and human development. Her therapeutic approach embraces the use of dreams, myths, and metaphors in the healing of psyche and soma.

Kawer believes in the transformative potential of therapeutic work and understands the body’s capacity for memory and healing. She is a graduate of Marion Woodman’s BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership Program and has been trained as a 50/50 Pathwork Helper. Her work with Woodman is woven into her psychotherapy with individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Kawer leads intensive retreats with Sil Reynolds and Sherry Wheaton, where they use ritual, voice, myth, masks, dream work, movement, art, and creative expression to promote the unique healing and growth of each individual. stoneridgehealingarts.com
